 1)  "Goddess of contagion"

I was instantly attracted to this storybook from the title, given the current times. Covid-19 is a contagion that has detrimentally affected the world recently so I knew it was one to read. This storybook did a fantastic job of creating a modern story relating to current events and relating it to a goddess many people are turning to for help during these times. The author had a cool way of turning small actions like leaving a mug into a greater part of the story, incredibly creative! This storybook also had very vibrant pictures of the goddess.

2) "Another Love Story"

I'm a sucker for love, who isn't, so of course I came across "Another Love Story." This introduction was the best introduction I have read and gave just the perfect amount of information that made me wanna read it but didn't reveal anything. The story is not a normal love story, but includes other very important parts of the lovers' lives that have an affect on who they are as a person. Even though I was not familiar with the original story of Pramadvara and Ruru, this storybook was extremely interesting to read and prompted me to research the original story and draw ties between the two. The emotion from the different situations had a lot of depth which is something I will take note of!

3) "The Demon Brothers"

This storybook also had a great introduction, giving an interesting point of view on the story instantly drawing a reader in. The journal aspect of the story was such a fun aspect of the reading. The way the author gives so much background to the brother's lives and how they went through trials much like every person does today and how they made wrong choices but also had hard trials and did have the ability to grow. This story was such an interesting read and the author had a great amount of detail in the way it would feel to be in such situations. I will also take note to the realistic emotions felt in such situations. The post included real photos of the cave in the storybook which was really cool.
